  • What kind of rewards can I get for referring someone for a role?
    In most cases, our community of independent recruiters will be happy to share some of their revenue for placing a successful candidate thanks to a referral. All of the recruiters in our network are independent, and as such, they are free to determine if / how much they would like to offer as a thank you for a referral that got hired. Typically, they will offer a cash reward of €1,000 - €2,000, but high-profile jobs such as C-level professionals may be compensated with more. Bear in mind that the payment of such rewards can only take place after the person hired started their new job and the hiring company pays their corresponding recruitment fee. Please notice that you can choose to redeem your reward in the form of cash, donation (to an organization of your choice) or gift voucher. You may also opt out of the reward and refer people only to help them.
  • Can ilabela help me become an independent recruiter?
    Yes! That is at the core of what we do. We have built a community of experienced recruiters who will personally coach you, and we offer dedicated training programs to help anyone start in the recruitment business. Our programs will prepare you from your first day learning up to your first client invoice, and beyond. We facilitate our crew members with tools and administrative support. You can learn more here.
  • Who can I refer for the open roles?
    You can refer anyone, but we strongly recommend referring only people who are already in your network. This means, people you know from a personal or professional context, other professionals in your field, or people you are connected to on Linkedin. While you can also look for relevant profiles that you are not connected to in any ways, it is highly unlikely that those referrals will be successful. We care about fostering human connections and our recruiters trust that the people that are recommended from our network of ambassadors are likely more relevant than those they can find themselves through the use of public tools such as Linkedin.
  • Do ambassadors need to do any type of work?
    The short answer is no. Our ambassadors will receive e-mail notifications with the open opportunities our premium recruiters are working on, and if you know someone who could be a good match, you can refer them to us. If you are referring someone you know personally, we may ask you for an introduction via email or Linkedin. That is the extent of the work you would have to do as an ambassador.
  • If I choose to claim a financial reward for a referral, will I have to pay taxes on that money?
    Our best guess is that you probably should. However, we are neither tax experts nor financial advisors. It is the sole responsibility of each ambassador to determine whether this income will be taxable to them or not. We recommend you look for professional advice in your jurisdiction if you are unsure.
  • Why would I refer someone from my network to your open roles?
    Essentially, because you're happy to help others. You will be helping our community of independent recruiters find the best talent for their roles. You will also be helping the people in your network, like your friends or current/former colleagues, by pointing them to opportunities they might otherwise never hear about. Additionally, some recruiters will choose to offer a financial incentive for an ambassador who refers someone who gets hired for the role. Whether the recruiter wants to share some of their revenue for a referral, and how much they share, is completely up to them. You can also choose whether or not you want to accept money for your help. If you choose not to take any money for helping, you may turn the money down, or donate it to a charity of your choice.

ATS Candidate Follow-Up: We provide support in managing applicant tracking system (ATS) interactions. A modest set-up fee of €/$500 is required when the mission commences. This fee serves to align our interests and cover initial briefing expenses. Rest assured, we do not profit from this fee; it's an investment in our shared success. What's not included in this fee but in Our premium Service? Personalised candidate filtering, candidate enrichment, and manual candidate matching by professional head hunters.     Rest assured, every candidate referred by an Ambassador undergoes a rigorous assessment. Ambassadors themselves are evaluated and ranked by both clients and our team, ensuring that the candidates we send your way are genuinely relevant.

    Expect Quality Over Quantity. Wondering how many candidates you'll receive? Well, the answer lies in our vibrant community.
